The West Schuylkill FC Explosion U10G team was crowned state champions on Sunday, May 21, at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA after winning the EPYSA Turkey Hill Challenge Cup. The girls finished group play with 3 wins and 0 losses after defeating teams from the Philadelphia area and the Poconos. In the quarterfinal match, the Explosion defeated Warminster 2-1 and followed that up with a 4-1 victory over West-Mont United in the semi-final. In the final, the Explosion defeated Lower Merion 2-1 in an extremely hard fought match. Congratulations to the girls!
